Bartlesville is home—I was born and raised here, and I’m so proud to spend my days helping my neighbors protect what matters to them. I became a State Farm agent in 2017 because I believe the right insurance partner can make a real difference for people, and I want to be that person for my customers. I work with people from around the area, including Dewey, Nowata and Washington County.

I got my State Farm start supporting another agent as a team member, which gave me a strong foundation in open communication and customer service. Now as an agent, it’s my goal to make sure people work with someone they know they can count on, and who has their interests at heart. My friendly, professional team offers exceptional customer service throughout the insurance experience, and we’re always available to answer questions and offer support.

Giving back to my hometown is something I’m passionate about. I love being involved and helping make my neighbors’ lives better. I’m a member of the local Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club, as well as the Young Professionals Club. I also work with the Boys and Girls Clubs and local schools to support disadvantaged youth. When I’m not in the office, you can find me spending time with my wife and our two kids, and enjoying the great outdoors.

My office is here to help with auto insurance, home insurance, life insurance, health insurance, small business insurance, property insurance, financial services and more. Ready to talk about a plan that makes sense for you? Stop by or give me a call today for a free quote.

Terah Henderson

Customer Service Manager

Terah is a loving wife and mother to three kiddos. She astounds us in how well she is able to balance work and her family life at home.

Terah has been in the insurance industry for almost six years now and has been with Matt since he opened his doors. Before she started here at State Farm, you guys might’ve seen her at Murphy’s Steak House serving up those Hot Hamburgers with gravy over all! She had recently became a mother when she decided it was time to find a better work schedule more fit for her and her family. Matt was hiring for a customer service representative at the time and she was thrilled at the opportunity to apply!

“In this industry, you are continuously learning something new. I always strive to gain and retain as much knowledge as I can that will benefit my customers and their needs, whether it be coverage, billing, or claims related!”

Parker Sturgeon

Parker was born and raised in the Dewey and Bartlesville area. After graduating from BHS in 2011, he left for college in Texas. He and his wife and two children moved back to town, and he began his agency career with Matt Spence in December 2023 after nearly a decade on the claims handling and appraising side of the industry. Parker has worked as an adjuster, appraiser, fire and theft adjuster for an insurance company in Texas, so he’s seen firsthand how coverage, whether good or bad, can impact a family. He enjoys his spare time with his wife and two children outside, mostly golfing or playing at the local parks. Parker most enjoys teaching and educating people about the benefits of having good coverage, ensuring more people understand how State Farm can protect their lifestyle, assets, and their loved ones.

ST

Sarah Taylor

Born and raised in the charming town of Bartlesville, I have always been deeply rooted in my community. For the past 18 years, I have been happily married to my loving husband, sharing life's journey together. Together, we have been blessed with four wonderful children who constantly inspire me to strive for greatness.

My passion for the arts, particularly classical ballet, led me to pursue my love for dance. I had the privilege of being a member of the Bartlesville Civic Ballet, where I trained under the esteemed direction of the late Miss Charlotte Lyke. Being a part of this prestigious ballet company not only allowed me to develop my skills as a dancer but also instilled in me a deep appreciation for the art form. Through rigorous training and performances, I honed my technique and embraced the grace and discipline that classical ballet demands. It was an enriching experience that has shaped my love for the arts and continues to inspire me today.

Recognizing the importance of community engagement, I actively participated in the Sunfest and Boo Fest committees for three years. These committees provided me with a platform to contribute my ideas, organize events, and create memorable experiences for the residents of Bartlesville.

Outside of my community involvement, I find great joy in supporting and helping my children in their various youth sports activities. As a dedicated parent, I volunteer my time to be there for them, whether it's cheering them on at gymnastics meets, cross country races, or track events. I believe in providing the support they need to excel and thrive in their chosen sports. It brings me immense happiness to see their progress and witness the determination and passion they bring to their athletic pursuits.

Through my involvement in various community initiatives, my commitment to family, and my love for supporting youth sports, I strive to make a positive impact in Bartlesville. I believe that by actively engaging in our community and nurturing the growth of our children, we can build a stronger, more vibrant place to live and thrive.
